Calling the recent news report regarding an alleged ‘insensitive remark’ to nurses, made by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Chief Dr Atul Goel, ‘misleading’, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) has extended its strong support towards Dr Goel.

This comes after the Ministry received a complaint in this regard from the All India Government Nurses Federation (AIGNF). Gujarat doctor committed suicide at his residence, mentioned BJP MP in suicide note

In the case of a 59-year-old doctor who is reported to have died by suicide, a suicide note naming BJP Lok Sabha member Rajesh Chudasama and his father Naran Chudasama was found from the spot by the police.

The Gujarat police are reportedly trying to ascertain the identity of the names given in the letter following the incident on Sunday.
